Privacy Notice
This notice explains how Vidda handles your personal data when you join our waitlist. It covers the waitlist only. When we launch our product, we will provide a separate, fuller privacy notice covering that service.
Who we are
Vidda Finance Ltd (“Vidda”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
We are registered with the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), registration number ZC290200.
What data we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect: your email address; your confirmation that you live in the UK or intend to move there; and a record of your consent, including the date and time you signed up and confirmed.
We do not ask for your name or any other personal details to join the waitlist.
How we use your data, and our lawful basis
We use your email address to send you updates about Vidda’s launch. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you tick the box and confirm your email. You can withdraw it anytime via the unsubscribe link in every email.
We use your UK residency confirmation to determine eligibility for the waitlist. We’re launching in the UK first and will open waitlists for other markets as we approach them. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests.
We keep a record of your consent (date and time) to show you agreed to our emails. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests.
Who we share your data with
We use Brevo (operated by Sendinblue SAS), an email platform, to store the waitlist and send our emails. Brevo processes your data on our instructions and under a data processing agreement. Brevo’s servers are located in the EU/EEA.
Brevo may also use limited data as its own data controller to keep its platform secure — for example, to detect and prevent fraud or misuse. You can read how Brevo handles data in Brevo’s own privacy policy at https://www.brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy/.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Brevo’s servers in the EU/EEA.
How long we keep your data
We keep your email address and the information you give us until the earlier of: you ask us to delete it or withdraw your consent; or 12 months after Vidda launches in your market. After that, we delete it. If you do not confirm your email address, we delete the unconfirmed entry within a short period.
Cookies
We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies on this waitlist page. Our host (Framer) and form provider (Brevo) may set strictly necessary cookies for the page and sign-up form.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to: ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete; ask us to delete your data; ask us to restrict how we use your data, or object to our use of it; ask us to transfer your data; and withdraw your consent at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this notice and change the “last updated” date above.
